Niwala Foundation

The Niwala Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving society by addressing the basic needs of the underprivileged. Supported by various communities, corporate sponsors, and institutions, the foundation focuses on providing essentials such as food, clothing, and education to those in need.

During the unprecedented circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, many faced hardships, including a scarcity of food, shelter, and clothing. In response, the Niwala Foundation initiated various projects to assist those affected, emphasizing their commitment to societal welfare.

The foundation’s mission encompasses several key initiatives:

• Providing Food to the Hungry: Recognizing that thousands sleep on an empty stomach daily, the foundation organizes food distribution drives to ensure that no one goes hungry.
• Donating Old Clothes: Understanding that many lack adequate clothing, especially during harsh weather conditions, the foundation collects and distributes old clothes to those in need.
• Educational Support for Children: The foundation provides educational kits and resources to underprivileged children, aiming to bridge the educational gap and empower the next generation.

For instance, during Krishna Janmashtami 2024, the foundation organized special meals and events to honor the festival’s spirit, reflecting their dedication to nourishing both the body and soul of the communities they serve.
